We tend to think of things in terms of dichotomies. It’s typically an either or proposition. You’re either friend or a foe, an ally or enemy. Or as former President of the US once said: “You’re either with us or you’re with the terrorists.” And why not, thinking of things in this way is an easy proposition and can be extremely helpful when it comes to making a decision.
Sometimes the process is quite simple like in the example above. However, most of the time you have to go through many layers and/or around and around until you get to the right decision for the situation you find yourself in or for the problem you’re trying to solve. The general point is that by thinking of things as a dichotomy and following the process of asking questions that require further thinking can help you make the right decision instead of just a hasty one that will hurt you in the long run.
There are other factors to consider in this but rather than delve into the complexities of right brain, left brain etc, instead and for the sake of simplicity, I’ll let the image below clarify what I mean and move on for now.
to make a long story short, for many years now, I’ve lived on the simple principle that “There are two kinds of people in this world, those who just want to be left alone and those who won’t leave anyone alone!” Another way to say that is that “There are two kinds of people in this world, those who think they know everything and those who are wise enough to know that they don’t!” Hint, those who think they know everything are typically the same folks who won’t leave anyone alone.
An interesting phenomenon that I discovered by rephrasing that initial phrase mirrors what scholars call the Dunning-Kruger Effect. Dunning-Kruger is a cognitive bias where people of limited competence tend to overestimate their ability. And making matters worse is that Dunning-Kruger is an equal opportunity affliction. By that I mean that even people who are learned and have great ability can still grossly overestimate their own competence.
For example, look at someone like Bill (I’m gonna get my “Richest Man in The World” title back and I don’t care how many useless eaters have to die for me to get it) Gates who thinks that there’s no real discernible difference between computer viruses, the kind that ruin your computer and live viruses, the kind that can ruin you and me, permanently. He’s so convinced of his moral and intellectual superiority that he’s invested billions in vaccine research to achieve his goals. And what are his goals? Well, at a minimum, it’s probably more for him and less for all the rest of us.
Then there’s globalists like the World Economic Forum’s Klaus Schwab and his evil little “side kick” a.k.a. “butt buddy” Noah Yuval Harari. Seriously, take a good hard look at these two and tell me they weren’t the models for Mike Meyers Dr. Evil and Minni Me characters in his Austin Powers movies! Even if they weren’t, they easily could have been. When they’re not plotting to take over the world by planting their surrogates in Cabinet level positions in governments around the globe, they’re planning for all of us to own nothing by 2030 and telling us we damned well better be happy about it or else!
Now, anyone with eyes to see who has at least two brain cells with a functioning synapse between them can see that what they are planning for all of humanity is nothing short of pure evil. They are so full of themselves and cock sure that they, being more enlightened than the rest of us useless eaters, should rule the world and those of us who will survive the great culling of the tax liability herd they’ve been planning. Hint: Those of us who are unfortunate enough to survive will be their serfs. Essentially, what the prophet George Carlin predicted will come true. It’s a big club, and we aren’t in it, we don’t have a choice, we have owners.
So if you’re a follower of Christ, what should you do? Should we jump on board the Globalism Train or the Christian Nationalism train? My suggestion would be to read a short work recently published by a friend of mine now available on Amazon.
