Last week I posed the question(s): “What if we’re wrong about the Rapture?” and “What if we’re wrong about a lot of the things we’ve been taught to believe about the Bible and the Last Days or else?” Or words to that effect. In regards to the former, let me just say that I am NOT in the pre-tribulation rapture camp. I’m more of a post-trib/pre-wrath kind of guy and I also don’t think it’s about an escapist “ticket to heaven” sort of thingy so much as it is about an endurance of the saints and an ushering in the Kingdom kinda of thingy. If you need to recap, here’s a (LINK) to last week’s post.
But there’s more about Revelation of Jesus Christ a.k.a. “The Revelation of John” that needs to be talked about too and that is the whole “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” thingy. The reason why I think that we need to talk about it now is because there are many, myself included, who think we may be seeing this happening in real time. For example, about two years ago, a YouTube channel called Messiah 2030 put out a series of videos making that case. And to be honest, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone make a stronger case for that than they do. Part’s one, two and three are all over an hour in length with parts one and three both over two hours long. I highly recommend that they be given a good looking over at the (LINK) provided.
Both the folks at Messiah 2030 and another fellow I’ve been following for some time by the name of Nelson Walters seem to think that the first seal of Revelation has been opened and that the “White Horse” and its rider have been loosed to wreak havoc on the planet with more on the way. Now one of the things that make the theories put forth by both the folks at Messiah 2030 and Mr. Walters is that the events they’re predicting are all linked to Jewish Feast Days which is significant to our topic for several reasons. The Jewish Feast days, seven in all, were specific appointed times for the Children of Israel to meet with Yahweh or Yehovah (YHWH) annually. Some say that these seals mirror the events in Revelation and provide a glimpse into what we can expect.
OK, so, for the sake of brevity and to not get too bogged down by the details, let’s just suppose that they’re right. Let’s just suppose that, the period of time the Bible refers to as the “Great Tribulation” has begun and those “godless fools” a.k.a. “Satan’s minions” running the world from behind the scenes have started their quest to take over the world and enslave all of humanity i.e., those of us who survive the Great Culling a.k.a. The Great Reset. You know, the one promised by the World Economic Forum where “we,” the survivors, will all be made to own nothing and told we all better damned well be happy about it or else.
The Four Horsemen Bible Prophecy
Well, first of all, this will put a serious grunge on a lot of folks cool because it would mean that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory has been thoroughly debunked! And, no offense to the folks who hold to that theory but, I think the blessing in disguise, if it is true that the tribulation has begun, is because it would get people to question a lot of the theories they have about the end times. IMHO I think it’s far better for people to question what they believe over being so cock sure of themselves because of what someone they trust once taught them. This is something we all ought to be doing with a lot of fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).
It would also mean that the second seal of Revelation and the Rider of the Red Horse is next up and it could be that we are seeing this happening in real time. Why do I think this? Well, it’s because a lot of bible teachers, theologians and wannabe’s out there think that the Red Horse of war is linked to Persia, a.k.a. the modern day nation of Iran.
Now on this one, I want to be cautious because I do not endorse the presenter in the linked video that follows as a good prophecy teacher. Why? Because he’s an arrogant cuss who when questioned about any of his teachings will attack by saying that he’s never wrong about any of his teachings because it was the Holy Spirit who revealed it to him and that anyone questioning him is a lazy Christian. I’m only sharing it because even a broken clock can tell you the correct time every now and then and every once in a while a blind squirrel will find a nut. But he does spell out the directions the horses come from “Barney Style” and even though I think he may be wrong on at least two of the other three horses and their riders, he may be right about the connection between the Red Horse and Iran.
4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Revelation 6
One of the big mistakes that American’s especially make about the Bible and Christianity in general is that we think it’s all about us. That’s why I think people look to find America in Bible Prophecy and when they don’t find it, cause it ain’t there, they insert it wherever they think they can fit that square peg into that round hole. But the Bible isn’t about America, it’s about nation of Israel and God’s Capital in Jerusalem and so I think the four horsemen will probably be geographically a lot closer to Jerusalem than halfway around the globe.
Perhaps more importantly, I think that it’s time for people to wake up and get right with their maker before it’s too late and just to make sure we’re on the same page he is on, maybe we ought to just reconsider what we think to be true because just like the Pharisees and Sadducee’s were wrong at Jesus’ first coming, maybe we could be just as wrong about what is true regarding his second.
Here’s an interesting little Substack that “Echo’s” (pun intended) my sentiments that you might find interesting.
