A Critique of What happens When You Use Eisegesis over Exegesis

Churchill would tell you that history is “Written by The Victors.” On the other hand, Foucault would say that history is deliberately superficial and amounts to propaganda. Regardless of who’s right or which is true, history is a set of ideas about our past that are promulgated in order to advance everyone toward a particular perspective. 

Now this does go a long way to explain why whenever someone comes up with an interesting or novel idea about ancient civilizations or why whenever someone pushes a spiritual purview, they're often condemned as maniacs and lunatics. It doesn’t necessarily mean they are insane. It likewise doesn’t even mean that they’re right either. What it means is what they claim needs to be investigated and examined! Those who claim otherwise are probably wanting to hide something.

The problem with history is, there's little to no objectivity in it. So, history as we know it is, more often than not, nothing more than a tool used by those in power to undergird the current order. However, if history is as Foucault supposes, it can also be used by those who are out of power who want to change everyone’s perspective on what is actually certifiably true in order to overthrow those in power! Arguably, we’re seeing a lot of that today with the whole transgender nonsense. But, that’s another story for another day.

But, this is where we are with the website and popular YouTube channel called “Truthunedited!” The question is, is the author of this website and YouTube channel content creator presenting an interesting or novel idea about the identity of a specific people group whom he calls “True Yashar’el” a.k.a. “Israel” or is he trying to alter certifiably true history and ignore certifiable evidence to push a new and IMHO arguably perverse idea?

His thesis, the people the whole world knows as “Jews,” and living in the country we all know as Israel today are not really Jews. They are pretenders! They are the offspring of people who hijacked Judaism known as the Khazars. The Khazars are a Turkic people who established a major empire in what is today southern Russia, Eastern Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the western portions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. According to Truthunedited, they are NOT of Jewish blood but converts to the religion and they did it not out of belief but for political and financial gain.

Further, all of the Jewish populations of Europe, apart from those in Spain and Portugal that were exiled during the Inquisition, are descended from Khazarian Jews and thus, not of Jewish descent either. Apparently he overlooks all of the other Jews who had migrated to Europe, Greece, Rome, Gaul, and even into the southern territories of the Germanic tribes etc. prior to the sacking of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Temple by Rome as well as all of those already in Europe prior to the rise of the Khazarian Empire. 

He also claims that all of those Spanish and Portuguese Jews who were exiled to North Africa are totally unlike the other European Jews who he seems to think must all be of Khazarian descent because he believes that all the Portuguese and Spanish Jews are brown people. You see, according to his thesis, “Brown People,” the members of this sect do not like to be referred to as “black,” are all the descendants of Ham, one of Noah’s three sons. White peoples are the descendants of Japheth and Asian peoples are said to be the descendants of Shem. 

He further argues that it is impossible for the descendants of Japheth, a.k.a. “White People,” to be Jews. Consequentially, all the inhabitants of modern day Israel are not brown like he is and thus NOT Jews. But never mind that neither Ham nor Japheth are in the line of Abraham the patriarch of the Israelites and Jewish peoples. 

If I remember my bible correctly, Abraham descends from the line of Shem and he begat Isaac who begat Jacob a.k.a. Israel a.k.a. “Yashar’el.” FYI, the name of Noah’s son “Shem” is where we get the word “Semite” from. Oh, and BTW, because he is Brown and NOT black, none of what he says can be termed as Racist or hateful. This is what differentiates his “Hebrew Israelite Lite” sect from the rest of those hateful Black Hebrew Israelite cultists he claims that he is not like.

He claims that true Yashar’el, specifically the lost tribes are the descendants of the Hamite peoples, who settled in what is now West Africa. Never mind that Hamites are not Semites and both the ancient Israelites and modern day Jews are semites. According to him, Semites, especially if they look like caucasians, CANNOT be from the tribe of Judah. And of course, none of what he says is rooted in RACISM! Why? I don’t know, probably because he said so.

Adding insult to injury, rather than accepting “Judah” (the Jews) as his brothers, he denies them. And given the unreliability of the non-biblical sources and slippery interpretation of the scriptures he uses to support his claims, he really needs to rethink his position. Instead, through a clever bit of reverse engineering, he weaves a rather tall tale that takes us from present day America back in time through the Atlantic slave trade to tie the curses from Deuteronomy 28 promised on the children of Israel for disobedience and places them on the West Africans who were sold into slavery. Never mind that these curses have arguably already been previously fulfilled by the Assyrian and Babylonian exiles. No! You have to forget that bit of history altogether.

Now to be fair, some of what he says is true. That can’t be denied. But all of it? Really?? He claims to be the “Truth Unedited.” But, the problem here appears to be that he doesn't know the difference between an opinion and a fact let alone the truth. IMHO, that is why he so easily falls for anything that supports his thesis and is so quick to ignore any real scientific evidence i.e. scientific facts or data that refute it, specifically, genetics and DNA testing. 

In short, he is not using good exegesis to rightly divide the word of truth but resorting to eisegesis. He’s reading into the scriptures what he want’s to see instead of reading them for what they say. Further, he doesn’t seem to understand that those Historians “Scholars" that he uses as evidence to support his thesis and his interpretation of the scriptures are merely expressing their opinions on the supposed evidence they've "allegedly" looked at nor does he look to see if the authors or evidence provided are reliable. He doesn’t seem to understand that just because they are scholars and they made a statement doesn’t make their statements UNDENIABLE FACTS! Remember, KKK Leader David Duke holds a Ph.D. and is an author.

One big question he refuses to consider here and would not answer when asked is this, are the “African” Jews he claims to be true Yashar’el really the genetic descendants from the lost tribes or are they merely the offspring of ancestors who converted to some form of Judaism that was brought into west Africa? He seems more than ready to accept that argument regarding the European “Khazarian” Jews, yet it would seem that he totally rejects it regarding the claims made by those from west Africa. Why? Because in his mind, you can’t compare who he calls real Yashar’el with those he calls pretend Yashar’el!

But, he seems fixated on west Africa and the Atlantic Slave trade and ignores the rest of the world. So why is it that all these other groups have genetic DNA markings linking them with the Jews presently living in Israel and not the West African’s now claiming to be Jews? Is it possible that the Kazarian Empire’s reach was further than we knew? Even further than the Atlantic slave traders? Not likely! 

So, if the Truthunedited is really looking for the “unedited truth” as he claims, it’s time he started examining the evidence that questions his position instead of ignoring it and questioning the evidence that supports it instead of blindly accepting it simply because it supports his arguably flawed thesis. Otherwise, he seriously risks forwarding falsehoods, leading people astray and becoming a cult leader.
